Jack Bowman works with artists, bands and creative teams to develop songs, compositions, arrangements and productions with a clear musical identity.
He can join an existing project at a specific stage or help shape it from an early idea, always beginning with what the music is trying to communicate.
Writing and co-writing
Jack is available for songwriting, co-writing and composition across recorded music, artist projects and performance-led work.
The contribution can be broad or precisely defined: developing an initial idea, resolving the structure, strengthening the harmony or melody, creating new musical material or helping an unfinished piece become a complete work.

Arrangements that serve the project
An arrangement determines how the music unfolds and how every part supports the whole. Jack can develop or refine arrangements for recordings, bands, rehearsals and live shows.

Production is where the writing, arrangement, performance and sound begin to work as one. Jack can help establish the creative direction of a track, guide the performances and make practical production decisions from demo to final recording.

As much or as little involvement as the music needs
You may need a co-writer for one session, an arranger to solve a specific problem, or a producer who can stay with the project through several stages. The scope is agreed around the work rather than forced into a standard package.
Projects can be developed remotely with clients worldwide, in person in the UK or France, or through a combination of both. International travel can also be considered where the work requires Jack on site.
Where studio facilities are required, the practical recording arrangements can be coordinated through BAY Custom Studios.
Begin with the material
1. Share the project
Send a demo, lyric, voice note, session export or other useful starting point, together with your aims and references.
2. Define the contribution
Jack will agree the scope with you, including his contribution, how the work will take place, the expected deliverables, dates and fee.
3. Develop the music
The agreed writing, arrangement or production process will then begin, with decisions and feedback kept focused on the project’s direction.
4. Confirm the next stage
At the end of the agreed work, Jack will provide the relevant materials and clarify any recording, production or performance steps that follow.
Clear terms before the work begins
Every project is quoted after Jack has reviewed the material and understood the scope. The fee, schedule, deliverables and number of revisions will be confirmed in writing before work begins.
Where a project involves co-writing, composition, arrangement credits, publishing or other rights, the intended credit and any relevant splits will also be agreed in writing before the work is completed.
